Carbon Monoxide (CO)

An odourless gas produced largely by incomplete combustion in internal combustion engines (e.g. Motor Vehicle) and firing installation.

CO which is inhalated obstructs the absorption of oxygen by the blood and, depending on the quantity inhaled, can lead to headaches, dizziness, nausea, unconsciousness or death.
