A foodstuff which should be free from pathogens, with a low bacteria count, wholesome, colourless, odourless, pleasant tasting and cool, with a low content of dissolved substances and free from properties which are injourious to the health. In addition, drinking water should not posses any corossive properties which place an excessive load on the pipework system, and should be available in a sufficient quantity and a adequate pressure. |
