Dr Bluhm GmbH (DBG) was founded in 1984 by Dr. rer. nat. Dr. habil. Thorsten Bluhm, then Professor for Physical Chemistry at the University of Düsseldorf, Germany. In 2014, he passed on the business to his son, Dr. Roland Bluhm.

DBG began with the distribution of laboratory equipment. Since then we have expanded our business into three branches:

Consulting

Independent scientific consultancy on environmental protection.
Consulting in Environmental Ethics.

Distribution

Ambient air and emission monitoring, Water quality monitoring, and Soil pollution monitoring and treatment. Industrial monitoring technology, Process Monitoring, Process simulation, Process Observation & Visual Control.

Training

Instruction on measuring systems in the producers’ factories and in European research centers.

DBG was founded on the theoretical and practical training as well as the extensive experience of its former president, Dr. Thorsten Bluhm. We continue to serve our clients dedicated to distributing high tech based on scientific knowledge and application.

Over the years, DBG’s Area of Operation has expanded to virtually all countries of the Middle East, which Dr. Bluhm Senior and now Dr. Bluhm Junior have been visiting on a regular basis for nearly fourty years.
